Insurance for a modded mini that will allow a 24 year old on it.

If I buy a modded mini , is there any insurance companies that will allow me to put my 24 year old daughter on it. I'm 51 so insurance isn't a problem, but my broker that I put my tvr though can't do drivers under 25.

    Any ideas?

Adrian Flux give them a call. I'm 24 and they got me the cheapest around with all Mods declared and no premium increase unless I go above 300bhp

Flux won't do it as my daughter is 24, they think I'm trying to front for her.

Oh I see... as a second driver? Why not take out her own limited mileage policy on the car. She'll be fully comp and earn NCB.

I only paid 600ish in the end and that was with a load of extras and flex drive, I can drive any car not registered to my home address full comp

I own the car, she just wants to come with me on a few track days. I can insure it for just myself for a couple hundred.

If she is only going to be driving it on track, she wont need road insurance ...

Avoid Prestige. The gimp I got a quote from didn't even know what a run-flat was! I used Flux. MCS starting with no NCB as my second car. 66 yo. Wanted to do a few mild mods. Appreciate they are no good to you because of the 25 age criteria.
One of my daughters, when under 25, got a pretty decent deal from Shielas Wheels. Mind you wasn't a performance car. I thought girls 'improvemnent in insurance' age milestone was 21 and boys not till 25? Maybe that's changed.

Mr Smith, I'm confused about your response from Flux. If you look at other threads here there are numerous 20, 21, 24 yo males with modded cars insured with Flux????
