Hello from the Midlands

Hi everyone, I've been around a while but I've not really said much or introduced myself and my MINI. My names James and I own a 54 Plate facelift MINI Cooper S. I never planned to mod it but I was bitten by the modding bug when I fitted my CAI, and I haven't stopped since. I've had it a year and a half now.

Im currently halfway through my winter project, which involved sorting the look of my MINI before moving on to performance mods. Loving the MINI it is amazing to drive and looks great as well.

I have a project thread here:yamMINI

but I will do a quick update of what I have done so far. I think I met some of you guys at MITP last year.

Current Mods:

Engine:
-MINI GP Intercooler
-Milltek Catback Exhaust
-Milltek Manifold and sports Cat
-Minimania CAI

Wheels and Suspension:
-BBS RZ's wrapped in Toyo Proxes T1 R's
-OMP upper+lower strut braces
-Eibach Pro Lowering Springs

Audio and Interior:
-Sparco Milano's - Full Leather
-Front - Focal 6.5" + tweeters
-Focal 6x9's behind the rear door panels things.
-10" Kenwood sub in an Auto Acoustics Stealth Box with matching amp.
-Pioneer AVH-P5000DVD +30gb ipod video + 30gb iphone 3GS.
-Orange Interior LED's

Exterior:
-Front Aero Bumper
-Colour coded Aero Grills
-Rear bumper silver GP Inserts
-Shelby Stripes & GP scoop vinyl + eyes
-Aero Sideskirts
-Wipac spotlights
-Red Brake calipers
-Legal Pressed Metal Plates

Further Planned mods for my winter project:
Accent colour added to wing mirrors, brake calipers and vinyl - Wing mirrors painted, caliper paint purchased, vinyl to be booked in
Colour Coded headlight rings- Painted and ready to fit.
GP Rear bumper parts
Beltline blackout
De-chrome the rest of the exterior
Sidestripes

Future Mods:
17% Pulley
Janspeed decat manifold
Interior, beltline upwards in black
4 Channel amp for focal speakers
Tinted Windows

Not a great photo but shows the lack of wheel gap:

Dont worry I have plans for later in the year, but with me it was looks first(which are nearly finished), performance 2nd, but no doubt I will be asking plenty of questions on here for my summer/autumn performance project LOL

Thanks still more to go, but much happier with the look, as losing all the chrome on the front makes it look more of a performance/sporty car.

Let me know how you go about it. I'm going to be de-chroming soon too Turning it to body colour. Let me know methods/costs etc
