2010 Rolling Road League Table

Welcome to the 2010 Mini Torque Rolling Road League Table.

This thread has been created to find out what sort of power, both at the wheels and at the fly, is being made by Mini Torque members in 2010.

To be added to the table please post up a copy of your dyno graph as an attachment to your post and the following details:
  • Model
  • Peak BHP including peak RPM
  • Peak WHP including peak RPM
  • Peak WTQ including peak RPM
  • Peak Torque including peak RPM
  • Peak Boost in PSI
  • Ambient Temperature
  • Dyno used
  • Link to mods (please create a garage)
When visting a dyno, where possible, please ensure you ask for measurements of the above to be taken.

Notes before dynoing:
  • Check tyre pressures
  • Check all fluid levels
  • Cool engine/intercooler before dynoing
  • Ensure plenty of fuel, ideally Tesco 99 or Shell V-Power
For supercharged cars, to ensure your inlets are as close as possible to on road conditions, please ask the dyno operator to let the car idle on the dyno with the dyno fan on until inlets drop to around 8-15C above ambient. There is little point dyno'ing a heat soaked MCS. When completing a dyno run, ensure the bonnet is shut to maximise airflow through the scoop and onto the I/C.

MT's two preferred dyno's in the UK are:
  • 1320MINI, St Neots - WHP & WTQ
  • AMD, Essex - BHP & LBS FT

Not too shabby thanks, will stick up my numbers when I pick it up tomorrow and have the graph in my mits.

Other dyno's are allowed we just prefer AMD and 1320 for the way they dyno the cars, not just a rush it in, rush it off set-up that you can get elsewhere.

Don't worry it won't be more than yours, got a lot of fine tuning to do yet to get it anywhere near the old one.

I'll post mine when it's not on a "safe tune" due to injectors :|

Why would you want to run your engine with an unsafe setup? All well and good for a while, but if it goes bang - you'll be going absolutely no-where fast...or should I saw fast no-where?

What he means is a 'limited by injectors tune'... His was mapped with injectors that were maxed out so the tune was reigned in...
