STI's are only good off the mark and crap afterwards. They go down easily at Castle Combe an M3 CSL totally kills them too. All weight and drivetrain loss with no go....

Was it an old STI too?? not the 2.6L?

the sti was a 53 reg. in all fairness my bro has a bug eye my02 sti privedrive rolling roaded at 343bhp and off the mark its very quick but if i am to pull away first in my mini he says he cant catch me. i personally think the subarus are well over rated unless tuned, then they are quick, but like morgan said they run out of puff
