Does anyone know where i can get a guide to taking the standard seats apart? Ive looked in the haynes but it only says how to remove them and not how to take them apart.

There is a fairly detailed guide to stripping down a standard seat with lots of pics in Modern MINI magazine May 2008 (Issue 22, pages 36-40) if you can get hold of a back issue or someone to scan it on here.
I can probably scan/email (or photocopy/post) at work tomorrow if you can wait a bit?

tis quite easy ive done it on my cooper you need T45 and T50 torx bits for some of the bits and strong fingers and a love of gashing your hands open (these seats fight back)

Are the frames the same for both passenger and drivers? i.e can a drivers frame be used on a passenger seat?
