With 500lbs springs front and rear, these must be rock hard!

Didn't know TEIN did a kit for MINI. A mate has a set fitted to his car and they give you in car electronic damping adjustment.

It did....( long story lol)

Basically some woman beat me in putting a deposit down on the car, and rang the owner telling him to return it to stock. He got the TEIN kit taken off it and a couple of other bits - then she rang him and told him that she didnt want to go ahead with the deal, so luckily he hadnt taken much off it by then. Then I gave him a deposit based on the car being WITH the TEIN kit fitted (cos thats how it was advertised!!) so rather than re-fit it 2 days after he had just had it taken off, he knocked £500 off the price of the car for me, and offered me the TEIN kit for a very good price if I wanted it.
So now I have the choice of whether to fit this TEIN coilover kit with EDFC (on board electonic controller) or not.... but there isnt much info on it out there!!

I like the thought of being able to electronically adjust damping from inside the car..schweeet.

However I heard somewhere that TEIN suspension parts are very stiff as they're designed for the smooth japanese roads...

and for a lot less than 740 you can have the new BC or Misters with the invereted dampers

to clear some rumors up the following coils are made in the following places (megan, mister and BC are all made buy Bor Chan) while i didnt like some of the fitments of the BC the system is a very good for the money

and (K-Sport, Tein and D2 all come from the same place for the mini, same for the K-Sport and D2 brakes) - from reports and feedback in the states i wouldnt use this lot
