^^ like he said and if possible avoiding huge traffic jams but I think we all try to do that all the time anyway. It maybe a heatwave here but places like Malaysia, UAE (and lots of others that I can't think of) have higher temps than this year round and must run Mini's without any problems.

Remember first and foremost that the MINI was designed to go years without problems even in area's of constant high outside temperatures. The hype about heat on all these forums is most related to performance not NORMAL driving conditions. So when it is hot out side keep the windows up the AC on and good music playing and don't worry.
Drive as if it was a family station wagon and full of kidds! You will be fine !! ![]() |

You know on my Brendella Flat bottom with a small Block Blown Alcohol engine on the Folsom lake CA on 115 degree day the blower case would sweat from condensation from the cool alcohol going through it.

heatwave? Damn guys...my mini has been hit with temps as high as 38 deg c....n im still gunning it every chance i get hehehe...
But my guess is dat the water/meth n grs ic is helping loads
