You can set up the fueling by a proper custom tuned map as far I am aware, I guess with an adjustable pressure regulator theres the extra flexablity that you can alter it without changing the map.

You have two choices to decide your route:

A, reduce your boost then you may get away with 380cc injectors and a map.

B, keep your boost, fit an Adjustable Fuel Regulator and some larger injectors. You will need the injectors as there is a limit to the pressure the standard fuel pump will supply, by having larger capacity injectors you can reduce the fuel pressure and still have head room when running over 19 psi. If your funds will allow I would add an intercooler of your choice then Combine this with a custom 1320 map and your going to be all sorted and running very sweet indeed!

The fuel regulator is directly controlled by your boost pressure, the more boost the more fuel is pumped in, this is fine on a stock car, but when the boost goes above what the standard regulator is designed to max at then no matter what the map says if there is no more pressure then it will run lean again. As this will happen in any gear at max boost and different rpm then it cannot be overcome 100% in a map.

PS you dont need to buy the AFPR from GTT we sell them also

Just been reading up on the AFPR, sounds an interesting peice of kit. I guess it would be useful if you wanted to up richen the fueling on hot day while blatting round Bedford then lean it out for the cruise home for better mpg.

So how much is the AFPR? I read it was something like £85 + VAT on an exhange basis? Good to hear you don't have to go through GTT

We stock all the GTT parts and we are midlands based so easy for fitment also!

We can supply the latest 450cc injectors and the AFPR, last time we fitted this setup it worked very well and for testing we use a calibrated air/fuel monitor to ensure you not to lean or rich. The only downside is it cannot lean or richen at different rpm like a map can, but it can get you past all the lean spots! and coupled with a map then you 100%.

Im not a salesman! I just love tuning and ecus!

PS Batou, my brother lives in Maidenhead so delivery is easy!

that just leaves the IATs - running up to 55c (5000 rpm) 74c (7000rpm) right now, how much do you think the AFPR and 450cc injectors will reduce this by?

I'll repost here:

I have the GTT AFPR and ********* 450cc injectors. The car gos like a shot now.

I picked up a brand new in box supercharger for £150 on eBay. They do come up sometimes.

Sometimes a GRS comes up on the classified ads or eBay. Could be worth trying stuff before changing from the 19%. I imagine you will need an intercooler for a 19%, and it helps with any others sized pulleys too.

I would go AFPR, Injectors, and then when funds allow, intercooler. then you can tie it all together with a remap.

I only had the 380's fitted not some 3 months ago (£130 from the US ) from the last dyno my fueling looks fine. I am awaiting funds (and permission) to get the map done so maybe something to consider.

So although it can't lean or richen at a given rpm, the map will overcome this or will lose that cability. Basically are you losing or gaining a margin of safety?

Haha where abouts? I moved here a few years ago. Very different to Sheffield lol

We can do that but we also fit some Air/Fuel equipment for testing

I think last time it was just under the 500 mark with new injectors and the exchange reg all fitted and tested.

Followed up with a map after its all settled and then your good, we could recheck the Air/fuel after the map on the road if required, or you could have a A/F gauge fitted.

Graham GRS and Bhozar use the same as in my car its the innovate system but your looking at just over 250-350 for the kit plus fitting

IATs can be cooled with a big intercooler of YOUR choice!

380s can cope, but to work with big boost you can to go bigger and reduce the pressure to supply the same amount of fuel, but then it can still give more when the boost rises, get me?
