stone chip protection
so which is the best? armourfend, armourshield, paint protection etc. etc.
once my new kit is painted, i'll want to get the front bumper stone chip protected. minipirate aren't doing it yet, so who are considered to be good, and as well as doing the job is not noticeable?

Can you notice much difference between protected area and non-protected?

Not if they cover the whole panel, if they stop partway up you start to be able to see a line after a while and on lighter cars there is sometimes a colour difference aftre a while with some cheaperoptions I've seen.
Blaze dont bother with any of the cream/polish aplications they protect against nothing except UV rays (which I've never know to cause a stone chip) |

I have Ventureshield on mine, and it's doing a great job. They've done the bumper, scoop, mirrors, grille suround, bonnet (to about 150mm above the lights), roof above windscreen, and top of rear bumper in loading area.
There is a line to be seen across the bonnet if looking at the car from the rear, but it's virtually invisible from other angles. In the pic below the end of the Venture shield is roughly about where the reflection of the lampost is above the front wheel. ![]() If the close up below has worked it should blow up to original size. You can see the edge of the tape in this one. Depends if you can live with this. Remember most people won't be looking for it when looking at your car, where as you are while viewing the pictures ![]() ![]()
