Ohh best of luck with that What's your degree in? My best friend is doing Business Management, he's hoping to do either Waitrose/Aldi manager training afterwards. You should look into Aldi, there's good money involved from what my friend showed me

Yeh, the Aldi scheme is great - however the real truth is that you work 50 odd hours a week, travel insane amounts (hence the company car) and you are thrown in at the deep end from a diving board on day one. If you don't perform you are out, I think.

Still, if you have what it takes the rewards speak for themselves, personally I dont think I am ready to be an area manger at the age of 20. Maybe once I have done a few years with Tesco I might look at my options, who knows.

My degree is in History.... not at all business related but it would seem employers like the fact that it teaches you how to research, develop analytical skills and how to construct a feasible argument etc etc.

The Tesco scheme takes you to Senior Team level after 12months and gives you the grounding to become a store manager within a few years - after that you could feasibly progress to high levels within the company providing you had the relevant skills.

Hopefully I will do well from it, but if it turns out to not be right for me I will have to consider something else.

No I did a three year course, but I am a late August birthday so I am still 20.

Its strange to think that I have got my degree and graduated before I turn 21.

Ah i dropped out of Portsmouth Uni In Febuary 2007, but im restarting afresh at Brighton Uni doing Property Surveying and Development in september.

I cant wait, but i do regret dropping out as my mates are about to go into their 3rd and final year in september when im just starting!!

I do miss it, we used to get up to so much! Like chucking those rape alarms they provide you in peoples bedroom windows in the middle of the night..... with the pin out so they cant turn it off! haha

lol - the joys of first year! I remember when we persuaded a lad to snort curry powder and eat a whole birds eye chilli - it took him a week to recover!

Lol, or paying a fellow uni member to deliver a pizza naked apart from his boxers to a girls flat party!

Or chucking party balloons full of water (about 1 gallon) at people from a 3rd story window as they walked past drunk!!!
