Code 2885, Boost Pressure Control Deviation, plausibility.

So this is the code I'm getting from the car, it's had a new BOV which has made no difference. Not the fuel pump as that has been checked.

    Suggestions?

Have you checked everywhere for leaks including vacum's? Also is the arm on the actuator moving freely?

Yeah mikey check every boost pipe and vacuum pipe, make sure no vacuum pipes have gone soft, they might be collapsing under vacuum

I've checked all the ones I can find.

To re iterate whats happening, the car boosts hard from cold then once warm and given a bootful it goes into limp home, if you reset the code it boosts a bit but not much so its defiantly something to with it getting warm, i guess if the boost hoses are going soft under the heat they might be collapsing???

That will be the Boost Pressure Control Unit bolts on under the inlet manifold, worth replacing the vacuum pipes that go to it at same time. I thought you said there were no codes?
