Also on the side where your petrol cap is, inside the boot panel is a pull cord for the fuel flap should the solenoid break

Some early prototypes were assembled at Longbridge before the move to Oxford.

Originally there were to be 2 interior colours, panther black (survived) and indigo (got canned).

The Mini is worshipped as a Sun God by some small tribes in Indonesia.
