Right, i no there a plenty of threads to do with buckets but i recon its a pretty personal thing so thought i would start my own.

After sitting in the power ranger at MITP and realizing how bloody comfy the seats in that where i decided i really want a set but i dont have a clue where to start.

Dont really have a budget set yet but im after something cheap as poss really.

Been looking at cobra monaco pro's on ebay and deamon tweaks which are 300 for the pair, they don't look anything special but they seem to be the kind of price im looking to pay. Is it false economy buying cheap shite like that as thell just be painfull to sit in and not well built?

Also i want to still be able to use runners as i seem to change driving position quite alot depending on what mood im in so what do i need if i want to do that?

right MT friends, I need advice and opinions.

I intend on some DIY mood lighting as the car is looking..well....dark and depressing and the last 2 girls to be lucky enough to be on a date with me have both said

'I love your car, but it is rather dark in here'

prompting the reply

'I like to do it with the lights off....'

Leaves em laughing but I'd like to have the option!

Does anyone have any cheap, easy ways of doing this WITHOUT me resorting to plugging in shit neons in the 12v socket from halfords?

I wanna keep with the purple and white theme though....maybe just white.....either way these are my preferences.

Anyone able to give help?

Not sure if this has been picked up before, but seeing Neil's car at the weekend gave me an idea...

The MINI comes with pre-drilled holes at the back of the lower rear seats, for the Isofix anchorage points. These look ideal for attaching harness shoulder straps too, and look relatively inexpensive.

Part number 72111314448 (part 6 below):

Not sure if the holes are present in the GP, but certainly are in my MCS which doesn't have Isofix seats.
