Very respectable companies like Toyota Race Development have played with the eaton and reached a limit where they concluded that at high ratios it was not worth it -the machine simply is not designed for it -far better to use another unit that is designed for it
I am fortunate in that the US side sells thousands of items and I get the feedback ,that helps when it comes to reliability - ie thousands pulleys sold
Way back in 2002 one of the first cooper s cars went to MM in the US and they played with that for years trying various things on track ,for instance with wta coolers 2 rads are needed for best results .
The Eaton is getting close to its ultimate limit now ,perhaps a few hp here or there ,then the move will be to other boost suppliers
