IMHO they're only worth having on a car which gets tracked. The real benefit being the ability to dialout pre-load in a car properly setup with cornerweighted coilovers. I didn't do this properly, with the inside rear corner being light and preloaded which probably contributed to me spinning into the tyre wall at Oulton Park

I got these, think I paid 345 new off an eBay seller. I needed them because my car being based on a Mini One only had a small roll bar up front and none in the rear. If I was doing it again, I'd run a standard R53 bar in the front and a rear bar with sliding adjustment like the Ireland Engineering or Ultrik ones.
Whatever you choose, get them setup properly of you're going to track it.
